After ten years of having been misdiagnosed, in 2019, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). With very little knowledge of the disease, I missed the signs. Some of the symptoms I experience today could have possibly been avoided or prolonged.
Polvorónes (Pol-bo-ro-nes) are my favorite shortbread cookies. They bring back memories of my childhood in Puerto Rico. They are also traditionally made during the holidays and shared with loved ones. For these reasons, I founded Pol-bo-ro-nes. By sharing a piece of my childhood and bringing awareness to MS, $1.00 for each item sold will be donated to the National MS Society.
